The nature of our business
We are principally a retailer. Retailing can utilise a number of facilities and functions including shops (off the street and in shopping centres), the internet, promotional material (using various forms including paper and electronic mail outs), credit and other card systems, lay-by arrangements and reward schemes. As a successful and long established retailer, we carry out any or all of these means of business from time to time. This Privacy Policy applies to the services offered on the tableeight.com.au website, operated by Table Eight division of Pretty Girl Fashion Group Pty Ltd. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Table Eight site. Use of the Table Eight website is conditional upon you agreeing to be bound by this privacy policy.  

1. Your personal information is important to us
Table Eight respects the importance of your privacy and right to make your own choices about how your personal information is collected and used. Generally, you have no obligation to provide information requested by Table Eight. If however, you choose to withhold requested information, we may not be able to provide you with the full service you require; particularly if the collection of that information is required by law. We collect information when you enter your personal details onto our website for example by joining the Email Club or taking part in a competition. If you register on the site we collect information such as your email address, name, postal address, date of birth and what products you like the most. We may also collect information on how you use the site in order to make it as interesting as possible for you. If you contact us, we may also keep a record of that contact. We will only collect additional personal information, other than that explained here, with your consent.

3. Our use of cookies

Table Eight uses cookies to make your use of our website and services as convenient as possible, such as customising your web browser's access so that if you are a Email Club Member, you can instantly see the current fashions contained in our newsletter. If you do not wish to receive any cookies you may set your browser to refuse cookies. However, this will mean you will not be able to take full advantage of Table Eight services.

4. Using and disclosing your personal information
Our purpose in collecting information about you is to: provide you with information which interests you and provide you with a better website experience with information and special offers that are more relevant to your interests. Table Eight will not use or disclose any information about you without your consent, unless: required by law. We believe it necessary to fulfill the above purposes, to provide you with the service which you have requested, to implement our terms and conditions, to protect the rights, property and personal safety of another Table Eight user, any member of the public or Table Eight. In seeking to give you the most worthwhile experience of our website possible, Table Eight may use your personal information to send you advertisements about products and services which we think you are likely to be interested in. If you are receiving promotional information about Table Eight and do not wish to receive this information any longer, you may remove your name from our list either by visiting our website and following the instructions on how to withdraw your information from that site (where that facility is available), or e-mailing us at customerservice@tableeight.com.au and asking to be removed from our mailing list.  Please allow 7 days for this request to be processed.

6. You can access the information we keep about you
If at any time you want to know exactly what personal information we hold about you, you are welcome to e-mail us at customerservice@tableeight.com.au. Our file of your information will be made available to you within 14 days.

7. Changing the information we have about you
If at any time you wish to change personal information that is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us by e-mailing us at customerservice@tableeight.com.au and we will amend this record.

8. Deleting the information we have about you or stopping any further advertising material
If you wish to have your personal information deleted, please let us know by e-mailing us at customerservice@tableeight.com.au and we will take all reasonable steps to delete it unless we need to keep it for legal reasons. If you do not wish to receive further advertising information from us, please let us know by e-mail or by clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of our Email communications.

9. Competitions
From time to time, Table Eight conduct competitions on the website. When we run these competitions, we may also give you the choice of being on a mailing list to receive further contact from us. Unless you choose to receive further communications from Table Eight, the information that we collect from your entry in the competition is not used for any purposes other than for the competition.

10. Storage and security of your personal information
At Table Eight, we are committed to safeguarding your personal information; and to keeping this information accurate and up to date. Access to this information is restricted within Table Eight to employees who have specific authorisation. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure, so we cannot absolutely promise that the information you provide to us will always be totally secure. Table Eight reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy at any time and notify you by posting an updated version of the policy on its website.

The amended Privacy Policy will apply between us whether or not we have given you specific notice of any change.
